As a former SEC Enforcement Attorney, I seem to gravitate towards securities compliance issues, both in standard securities offerings and some of the nuances surrounding ICOs.
I also specialize in licensing matters, with an emphasis on technology related licensing.
Having been a business attorney for nearly my entire career, I also gravitate to the equivalent of “Outside General Counsel” for many of our clients, providing experienced counsel for everything from entity formation and maintenance, to weird one-off contracts. I love the variety!
Since moving out the Palm Springs area and getting married 6 years ago to a retired High School Drama Teacher, my life has taken a different turn: to spend meaningful time with my wife, I’ve taken up theater. As a lawyer that transition wasn’t all that hard, and I’ve been nominated for two Best Actor awards by the Desert Theater League, one for a one-act play and the other for a lead in a comedy.
I still believe my claim to fame will be as the father of my wonderful daughter, who as a recent USC graduate (B.S., Music Business) is an aspiring singer/songwriter and DJ, and who is doing all she can to avoid getting a “real” job.
I love having the opportunity to contribute my specialized skills an diverse background to such an amazing group of accomplished professionals, whose devotion is not just to delivering extraordinary legal services, but also to making the world a better place.
