AT EXEMPLAR | Work Smart, Have Fun – See Us At Play |
As a former SEC Enforcement Attorney, I seem to gravitate towards securities compliance issues, both in standard securities offerings and some of the nuances surrounding ICOs.
I also specialize in licensing matters, with an emphasis on technology-related licensing.
Having been a business attorney for nearly my entire career, I also gravitate to the equivalent of “Outside General Counsel” for many of our clients, providing experienced counsel for everything from entity formation and maintenance, to weird one-off contracts. I love the variety!

THE REAL ME
Since moving out the Palm Springs area and getting married 6 years ago to a retired High School Drama Teacher, my life has taken a different turn: to spend meaningful time with my wife, I’ve taken up theater. As a lawyer that transition wasn’t all that hard, and I’ve been nominated for two Best Actor awards by the Desert Theater League, one for a one-act play and the other for a lead in a comedy.
I still believe my claim to fame will be as the father of my wonderful daughter, who as a recent USC graduate (B.S., Music Business) is an aspiring singer/songwriter and DJ, and who is doing all she can to avoid getting a “real” job.
